In The Original Series arc

The Last Wilderness

While in a valley, Toklo tries to hunt caribou. Before he can catch one, Ujurak transforms into a caribou. Ujurak and the other caribou run away, leaving Toklo, Kallik, and Lusa have to go find Ujurak.

Spirits in the Stars

The plan to destroy the oil rig was to have the caribou stampede over it, destroying it.

While they're running, the caribou tire out so Ujurak changes into a caribou to get them moving.
