Erin Hunter is the pen name for the four writers and the plot writer who do "Erin Hunter's" books. They are Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, Tui Sutherland, and Victoria Holmes. Three of them have jointly written the books, while not long ago an fourth writer joined the team. Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Tui Sutherland write, while Victoria Holmes does the plot writing and planning of all their books. They have written the hugely popular Warriors series and Seekers series, and mangas related to the series. They are currently working on Spirits in the Stars (5th book, 1st series) and a Lusa manga. They are writing other books as well as planning a second Seekers series.
