Giraffes are a kind of mammal that appear in the Seekers series.
Description[]
- Giraffes natively live in Africa in the wild, though many live in other areas of the world in zoos.
- They have large spots on their necks and bodies, with smaller ones on their legs and head. They have the longest neck of any other animal currently living on earth, which have evolved for being able to reach leaves on the taller trees.
- Their tallness also seems to make predators such as lions avoid them, though they are preyed on from time to time. Their only living relative is the Okapi.
History[]
In The Original Series arc[]
The Quest Begins[]
- They are briefly mentioned in The Quest Begins by Ashia when she returns to the Bear Bowl. She tells Lusa about their long necks, and Lusa wonders how their necks could get so long. Lusa also sees them when she leaves the Bear Bowl.
