- When Ursa appears to Ujurak, he remembers the first time he shape-shifted. In his memory, he is a cub in his BirthDen when a mouse comes out of a hole. He feels himself changing until he becomes a mouse. The mouse he had seen offers him a berry and Ujurak eats it.
- Ursa then comes over to them and the other mouse gets scared, telling Ujurak to run. Ujurak does not run, though, because he knows the bear is his mother. Ursa proceeds to tell Ujurak that he must never forget that he is truly a bear.
