Great Bear Lake

The salmon have not yet returned to the rivers, so Toklo gets chosen to swim to Paw Print Island and stay there for a day.

While there, Shoteka, a large male grizzly, battles Toklo.

Traditions

• When the salmon aren't coming, a bear is sent to Paw Print Island to live there for the rest of the day to impress Arcturus and bring back the fish. Toklo is so far the only bear to have done this.
