- When Toklo wakes up, he scents that a raccoon had come by the night before.
In the Return to the Wild arc[]
River of Lost Bears[]
- Toklo sees a raccoon dead in a footholder trap. He uses the raccoon to test, and manages to free Yakone from the same sort of trap.
- As the bears guide injured Yakone through the forest, a twig snaps, but Toklo says that it was just a raccoon.
