The Great Bear, otherwise known as Silaluk, Arcturus, the lonely bear or Ursa Major is the bear spirit that watches over every single bear, no matter what color fur. She changes form for the different types. For all polar bears, she is Silaluk. For all black bears, she is Arcturus and for all grizzly bears she is the lonely bear.
